Another midsingles conference has come and gone. We’d like to thank everyone who participated, all the attendees, and we look forward to another exciting conference next year in 2010!
If you missed the conference, or want a reminder of some of the great things that went on, here’s a video from the saturday night program:
Get ready for mixing and mingling (woah!), workshops, and service projects (word!). Then put on your threads for some great eats, speed dating (how YOU doin?), and jump, jump, jump around to your favourite 90’s… yadda yadda yadda!
Friday June 5th to Sunday June 7th 2009
Calgary Stake Centre (2021 17th Ave SW)

About the Conference:
The midsingles of the Church (late twenties and thirties) are a vibrant group and growing demographic in the Church. As YSA start to phase out of the YSA program and into the family wards, many feel that their socializing opportunities diminish. Single adults who have transitioned to family wards find that the Single Adult program doesn’t meet their social needs. Many midsingles have asked for the opportunity to socialize with other midsingles in organized Church events.
The success of the midsingles conference comes from the old adage, “necessity is the mother of invention”. A need was seen, initiative taken and a fantastic, well-organized and well-appreciated event ensued. This year marks the 4th annual conference with over 400 expected attendees.
The MidSingles Conference has 3 defined goals which are:
a. Create a positive sense of community within the MSA’s
b. Create a venue where MSA’s can come to “meet, mingle and marry”.
c. Allow for networking and friendshipping among MSA’s.
